responding to enquiries and communicating with guests, creating, confirming and managing reservations, providing accommodation services, processing or securing payments, complying with legal obligations, website analytics with the user's consent.

Depending on the purpose, processing may be based on performance of a contract, steps taken before entering into a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, consent or legitimate interests.

When you submit a message through our contact form, the information is sent directly to our e-mail address.

The information is not stored in a separate website database.

We use it to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you regarding your request.

We use the HBook booking system and related technical solutions to manage direct online reservations.

During the booking process we may process:

name and surname, contact details, country, arrival and departure dates, number and ages of guests, selected room, reservation and payment information, special requests voluntarily provided by the guest.

These data are processed for the purpose of managing the reservation and providing accommodation services.

We use Stripe for payment card processing and/or reservation guarantees.

Payment card details are processed through Stripe. Mayr d.o.o. and Guesthouse Stari Mayr do not receive or store the guest's complete payment card details.

Stripe may process personal data in accordance with its own privacy policies.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance.

Google Analytics is activated only where the visitor has provided the required consent through the cookie settings.

The Contact page contains an embedded Google Maps map to display the location of Guesthouse Stari Mayr.

When Google Maps is displayed or used, certain technical information may be transmitted to Google.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

In Slovenia, the competent supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or misuse.

However, no transmission of information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly if the website, service providers or applicable legal requirements change.
